Ingredients
- 8 slices
- walnut bread (or other bread with nuts or seeds)
- 1 tbsp
- softened butter
- 15 mL
- 4 tsp
- honey
- 20 mL
- 5 oz
- Brie cheese, thinly sliced
- 150 g
- 1/2 cup
- fresh or frozen blueberries(thawed and drained if frozen), roughly chopped
- 125 mL
Directions
Step 1
Butter one side of each bread slice, evenly dividing 1 tbsp (15 mL). Place slices – buttered sides down – on clean work surface. Spread 4 of the slices (on unbuttered sides) with 1 tsp (5 mL) honey each.
Step 2
Divide the Brie slices among the 4 honeyed slices, and top with 2 tbsp (30 mL) blueberries each. Place remaining bread slices on top, buttered side out.
Step 3
Brown sandwiches in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat for about 10 min., turning once, or until cheese is melted and bread is golden on both sides.
