- French salad dressing
Directions
Step 1
Line 4 plates with butter lettuce. Top with romaine. Arrange all other ingredients except french dressing on top. Drizzle with French salad dressing or your favourite bottled or homemade salad dressing.
Tips
Use crunchy iceberg lettuce as a base for the salad instead of romaine. Like seafood? Then use slices or piece of hot or cold smoked salmon instead of chicken. Blue cheese too strong for you? Then use cubes of a milder cheese such as cheddar or Swiss.
